Moving to a new place can be exciting, but can also be lonely. Many people arrive in Norway without knowing anyone, where to find community, or how to get involved. Welcome Week exists to make those connections easier.

As of now, Welcome Week events are still being processed and regularly added to the calendar. Here are some potential
events you can expect to see:

Welcome Week is a voluntary social impact initiative made possible by organizations, communities, and individuals across Norway who believe everyone deserves to feel welcome and wanted.

Some of the people and organizations helping make Welcome Week possible include:

  • Mesh — Providing our coworking space, serving as Welcome Week headquarters.

  • Oslo&Co — Partnering with Welcome Week to deliver Community Day, our flagship event.

  • Sparebankstiftelsen & Sentralen MINT — Allowing us to use the gorgeous Marmorsalen room at Sentralen for the Oslo Community Day event.

Welcome Week continues to grow through partnerships and community support. Interested in supporting us? Whether you can provide a venue, expertise, communications support, or simply help spread the word, we'd love to hear from you.
