What is welcome week?

Welcome Week is a nationwide series of community-led events taking place across Norway from 21-27 September 2026. From coffee meetups and hikes to networking events and workshops, the goal is simple: help people connect and feel welcome in Norway.

How it works

💡 Come up with a great event idea. Don't overthink it! A coffee meetup, hike, workshop, networking event, or community gathering can all work.

📅 Create your event page. Once approved, you'll create a Luma event page and add it to our official Welcome Week calendar.

✅ Submit your idea. Fill out our short form. We'll review it and make sure it fits Welcome Week.

🎉 Start sharing! Once your event page is live, it's ready for promotion from your end and ours. You'll be in charge of your own RSVPs and event details.
